Abstract
The book contains photos from all 9 of the Erich von Stroheim productions he worked on his 14 year stint as Hollywood director; starting from his sensational Blind Husbands (1919) up until his final (of a few too many) failed project Walking Down Broadway (1933). The book also includes stills and photos from his films 'The Devil's Passkey' (1920), which was lost when the only known negative of the film was destroyed in vault fire in the late 30's. Before each film's collection of photos there is brief synopsis, as well as production details such as cast and crew and also promotional material for the films. There is also a listing of his unrealized projects.
