Abstract
A study of the early American film studio, the Thanhauser Company/Thanhouser Film Corporation. The database includes a narrative history of the company from 1909 to 1918, augmented by hundreds of reviews, biographies, photographs, advertisements, illustrations and film clips collected from public archives, collections and publications, all related to the more than 1000 films they produced and released during their short history.
